Hello!
Writing to ask some questions about some confusion between the information at TUK online store and other online stores selling TUK shoes.
For example: this shoe (A7870L - http://www.tukshoes.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=73_67_13&products_id=1168) is told in another online store that the purple material is real suede.
But, in TUK online store it says that it is Faux Suede.
another example: the product A2606L (http://www.tukshoes.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=73_67_13&products_id=1022) says black leather in TUK online store but in other websites they say it's imitation.
The same happens with A7802 too (http://www.tukshoes.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=73_67_117&products_id=1086). but it get's worst when it is promoted by being a vegan cool choice: http://www.veganshoeaddict.com/vegan-shoes/vegan-heart-creepers.
So, why is this happening?
are the information in your online store true?
are TUK being honestly about the materials they use?
when you say that it's made with "man-made materials", it's made ONLY with man-made materials?
Why is that TUK doesn't have a single section dedicated to Vegan options? Are any of TUK shoes totally vegan?
How can Ii be sure about getting TOTALY vegan shoes?
Hello Boneca de Trapos,
Thanks for your interest in T.U.K. Footwear. We do have a lot of Vegan options, but let me address your questions first. All the product detains on our website are true. We are the manufactures and so we know all the materials that go into the construction of the shoes. I don't know which other websites you say has our shoes labeled otherwise but you can always look to our site for the real details.
A7870L - is faux suede (polyurethane (PU) suede)
A2606L? is not a style number of ours (maybe a typo?) so i cannot help you there.
A7802 - is leather. We are not sure why Vegan Shoe Addict had it on their site as vegan.
When we label our shoes as "MADE FROM MAN-MADE MATERIALS" we are saying that they are ONLY made from man-made materials, no animal, and are vegan.
You can search for our vegan selections by typing "vegan" in the search box or by following this link: http://www.tukshoes.com/store/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=vegan Hopefully this has been helpful to you & thanks again for the interest.
- T.U.K.
