When our photographer was busy snapping pictures of Hetfield's impromptu meet and greet held after the first West Coast screening of ABSENT, she unwittingly stirred a web fashion frenzy. Message boards, tweets, and over 60 emails received here at RMM all had one burning question on their brains: What do you know about James Hetfield's bad ass shoes!?!"





"In fact, the shoes worn by Metallica's frontman are produced by the San Diego shoe company T.U.K. The skull and bones seen on the soles are a trademark of T.U.K. shoes, and not of Metallica's 'Scary Guy.'. T.U.K.'s long embraced by the rock scene, has been worn by everyone from Green Day to NOFX, and now, by James Hetfield."
